During 12 years working with the City of Brampton Economic Development Office (EDO) as Agency of Record, Interkom developed branding and marketing strategies and executed numerous integrated marketing communications campaigns to fulfill the City’s strategic marketing objectives.
The brand development and branding of the City of Brampton EDO has promoted Brampton as a preferred business location for advanced manufacturing, food and beverage, information & communication technology and logistics sectors. The economic development resulted in the rapid growth of the City’s population (from 260,000 in 1996 to 450,000 in 2006), new businesses created (over 3,000 new businesses from 1998-2005), and multiple years of billion-dollar construction activity (2000-2006). Brampton top employers and SMEs (small- and medium-sized enterprises) both benefited from the economic development results.
