Interkom led a multi-year capital fundraising campaign and pre-branding activities for the new Performing Arts Centre in St. Catharines. Opened its doors in fall 2015, the new Performing Arts Centre is an unsurpassed facility of creative exploration for capturing artistic visions and sending emerging and new talent onto the global stage.
After the completion of the Feasibility Study and to support the capital campaign fundraising implementation, we utilized an integrated marketing approach and unique donor recognition events to create the buzz in St. Catharines and the surrounding communities in the Niagara region. Some of the tactics include monthly e-newsletters to report on campaign progress; content sharing on Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr, working in tandem to engage and interact online community; a responsive-design website that is updated frequently and search engine optimized; and Public Relations. Major Gifts donors have been featured by the award-winning journalist, Paul Waldie in The Globe and Mail, as well as in the local media.
Results: After the fundraising campaign launch in April 2013, we are wrapping up the capital campaign and community campaign end of 2015 with $7,750,000 raised – surpassing the campaign goal by 50%!
Hats off to the team at Interkom. Thank you Martin for all your hard work and dedication. We could not have done it without you.– Steve Solski, Executive Director, FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre
