The Art Gallery of Windsor (AGW) supports the presentation of Canadian visual arts in the international border community of Windsor-Detroit, one of the busiest border crossings in North America. Established in 1943, the Gallery is a cultural pillar situated in a premium downtown riverfront location overlooking the Detroit River and downtown skylines. The Gallery is known for its cutting-edge contemporary art program and Canadian art collection now approaching 4,000 works.
The AGW was seeking a strategic marketing and advertising partners to help build the organization through a combination of brand building, fundraising, gallery experience, member relationship management and tourism strategies. They sought out a partner to lead them through a process to define the AGW brand and increase its relevance to our target audience. Through an RFP process, AGW selected Interkom is 2016 and we have been on board ever since.
With the help of Interkom, the Gallery is the 2017 recipient of Best Art Gallery or Public Art Space, a Best of Windsor Award. Interkom is currently also engaged to work on the AGW’s 75th-anniversary celebrations.
