Museums, Art Galleries, Cultural Centres and Archives are re-defining themselves in a post-pandemic world and in the current digital age. This is a transformation that touches all aspects of visitor experience, education, collections, archives, research and Museum operations.

The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre (BCM&CC) is also transforming, aiming to be a digital leader among museums and archives in Ontario, and throughout Canada.

In January 2021 we moved forward with the creation of a Digital Content Strategy for Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre. The background research included an in-depth analysis of the BCM&CC’s digital presence and environment. Part of this process was engaging with internal and external stakeholders along with a public survey. The result of the work is an actionable Digital Content Strategy for the BMC&CC. This document will assist and guide decision-making processes to continue to provide relevant, compelling, and valuable content.

Interkom also assisted the Museum with the development of their 2022 Strategic Marketing & Implementation plan and is currently assisting with the day-to-day management and content development for the Museum’s Social Media accounts.
